Ronda coordinates the Idaho IR-4 program with the National IR-4 Headquarters and conducts pesticide residue research trials for new potential pesticide registrations. She serves as the Idaho State Liaison Representative for national pest management programs.
It is her responsibility to deliver an Information Network which disseminates and coordinates pesticide and pest management information with growers, research and extension personnel and state and federal government agencies, in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. Idaho Pest Management Center information is coordinated with USDA/CSREES Western IPM Center. She also works on the development of the IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Planning Tool for the OnePlan, a conservation based farm planning program with the USDA/NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service).
