Center for Disabilities and Human Development The UI CDHD serves children and adults with developmental disabilities. The center creates exemplary service programs and provides technical assistance, training and research. At UI Boise, the CDHD currently houses the Idaho Project for Children and Youth with Deaf-Blindness and the Intensive Behavioral Intervention and Developmental Specialist for Children certification programs.
TechHelp Innovative manufacturing solutions and technical resources to assist Idaho manufacturers in becoming more competitive in the local, regional, and global marketplace. TechHelp offers technical assistance and training, a full range of consulting services, and cutting edge knowledge and information through its link to UI, ISU, and BSU, and a national network of manufacturing specialists.
Idaho Educational Opportunity Center New to Idaho and 10 Northwest Nations is $3 million in federal Department of Education grants to help adults with limited income access a higher education. Preference goes to people aged 19 or older on limited incomes, whose parents do not have a four-year college degree.
